The process we will go over again and again just to give you a round and firm grip on all the different ways to clean a window. The goal is to get you started and making money, not lasting time. Don’t worry if you you are not sure what he is talking about when it comes to the tools. Just watch and you will get the basic idea.
Remember one key to an successful business is to know your tools. This is what we will start to talk about next week…
Before we begin, you need to know a few things about cleaning basics. The general rule is to do the hardest part of the job first. Work in a systematic order. Cleaning from the far-left window or start in the far-right window, try to always start in the same place on each job. Never start in the middle!
Window cleaning has a few rules you can’t bend. You must always begin cleaning with the highest glass and work down. Also, it’s a good idea to do the outside first, this way you can see the few mistakes you made on the outside glass when you clean the inside windows. Just touch them up before you go.
When I do my store fronts, I like to do the doors last. I also start from left to right, but there are some exceptions. Wind plays a big role in window cleaning, clean with the wind to avoid the water spray from going onto the clean glass. If you still do not understand why? Then think about why you would not spit into the wind. It’s the same concept.
Remember to practice in a system that you feel compatible with and stick to it.

Now with the help of the International Window Cleaning Association (I.W.CA.), we are classified as skilled works! The International Window Cleaning Association is a non-profit trade association committed to raising the standards of professionalism within the window cleaning industry
